Wollman Rink opened in 1950 as a public outdoor skating rink. It also served as an annual music festival venue in the summer to musicians such as Billie Holiday, Dave Brubeck, Dizzy Gillespie, Buddy Rich, Stan Getz, The Who, Led Zeppelin, the Beach Boys, Patti Smith, and more!
